What is Skillpayy Academy?
Skillpayy Academy is an online learning platform where you can take structured vocational courses in trades like fashion design, shoe making, baking and catering, bead making, photography, and knitting and crochet. Courses include video lessons, quizzes, and practical tasks, and you earn a certificate when you finish.
How much do courses cost?
Prices vary by course and are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) on each course page. Some courses are free, others are paid, set individually by the instructor or Skillpayy Academy.
Do I get a certificate when I finish a course?
Yes. Once you complete every stage of a course, you can claim a certificate of completion, which you can view, print, or download as a PDF from your student dashboard.
Can I learn on my phone?
Yes. Skillpayy Academy is built to work fully on mobile, including video lessons, quizzes, and practical task submissions, with no separate app required.
How do I become an instructor on Skillpayy Academy?
Register for a free instructor account, then either build your course yourself on the platform or send your existing videos to be built for you by an editor. Instructors keep 90% of net revenue from their paid courses.
How does Skillpayy Academy pay instructors?
Instructors are paid twice a month by bank transfer: sales from the 1st to the 15th are paid on the 20th of the same month, and sales from the 16th to the end of the month are paid on the 5th of the following month, for balances of ₦5,000 or more.
How long does it take to complete a course?
It depends on the course. Each course page shows its expected duration, from a few hours for a quick lesson or crash course up to several weeks for a full course.
