Terms & Conditions

Skillpayy Academy is an online learning platform operated by Levo Technology Ltd. (“Skillpayy”, “we”, “us”). We provide structured online training in vocational and practical skills through our own courses and courses offered by independent instructors.

• Users must be at least 18 years old. Users aged 7–17 may use the platform with parental or guardian consent and supervision.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• Accounts are personal and must not be shared, sold, or transferred.
• Report suspected unauthorised account access to admin@skillpayy.com.

• Courses may include quick lessons, crash courses, and full courses.
• Each course is sold separately unless a bundle is stated.
• Paid course access begins after payment is confirmed.
• Course details, prices, instructors, and content may change. We will not materially reduce the value of a course you have already paid for without an appropriate remedy.
• Course access lasts for the period stated on its page. If no period is stated, access lasts for 12 months from enrolment.
• Course access is for your personal learning and is not transferable.

• Prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦), unless stated otherwise.
• Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
• Failed or reversed payments may result in suspended course access until the issue is resolved.
• Refunds are generally not available after course access has been used, a course has been completed, or a certificate has been issued, except where required by law or expressly approved by Skillpayy.
• If Skillpayy cancels a course, you may receive a full refund or equivalent course credit.
• To request a refund or ask a payment-related question, email admin@skillpayy.com. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 working days.

• Certificates are issued when you complete the required lessons and assessments.
• Certificates confirm course completion but do not automatically represent a government licence or regulated professional qualification.
• A certificate does not guarantee employment, customers, business success, or income.
• Skillpayy may revoke certificates obtained through cheating, fraud, or misrepresentation.

• Independent instructors are responsible for the accuracy of their course content and the views they express.
• Skillpayy reviews courses but does not guarantee that all content is error-free or suitable for every learner.
• You must follow appropriate safety instructions when practising skills involving tools, machinery, heat, or other hazards.
• Skillpayy is not responsible for third-party websites or services linked through the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

• Skillpayy, its instructors, and its licensors retain ownership of their respective content, including videos, images, text, logos, and course materials.
• You may use course content for your personal learning only.
• You must not copy, record, redistribute, resell, or publicly share course content without permission, except where downloading or sharing is expressly allowed.
• Work you create remains yours. By submitting work to the platform, you allow Skillpayy to display it for platform operations and promotion. You may withdraw permission for promotional use by contacting us.
• Separate agreements govern instructor content, ownership, licensing, and payments.

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or abuse other users.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.
• Cheat in assessments or submit another person’s work as your own.
• Hack, disrupt, or misuse the platform.
• Copy course content or collect user data without permission.
• Promote unrelated products or services without approval.

Skillpayy may remove inappropriate content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Skillpayy handles personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable Nigerian data protection laws.

We use your information to manage accounts, deliver courses, process payments, issue certificates, improve our services, and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal data.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting admin@skillpayy.com. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time, although essential service messages may continue.

We aim to keep Skillpayy Academy available and functioning properly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Courses provide education and training. We do not guarantee specific employment, business, or financial outcomes.

To the extent permitted by law, Skillpayy is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Our liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant course in the 12 months before the claim, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

You may request account closure by emailing admin@skillpayy.com.

Skillpayy may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in unlawful activity. Any refund will be handled in accordance with the refund policy and applicable law.

When your account is closed, your right to access course content may end.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it amicably. If we cannot resolve the dispute, it may be referred to mediation or the appropriate Nigerian courts.

We may update these Terms as Skillpayy Academy develops. Updated Terms will be published on the platform with a revised date. Where appropriate, we will notify users of significant changes.

Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable course-specific or instructor agreements, govern your use of Skillpayy Academy.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
